The Nolan X-1002 is the uncontested leader in its category, as well as being the reference model for all flip-up helmets. Practical to use, and meticulously finished, this helmet bears all the marks of quality.
The aerodynamic styled shell, gripping ventilation devices and a specific fit rubber trim - placed around the chin guard edge - providing an excellent seal against the elements. The helmet is equipped with REMOVABLE AND WASHABLE COMFORT PADDING, with ROLL NECK, to meet the specific needs of Touring riders.
The visual look is additionally enhanced by the chromatic colour match of all the helmet’s components. Also, the X-1002 enjoys the famous and appreciated Nolan devices: SMART LIFT, which allows the chin guard opening by using only the left lever and is particularly useful when the vehicle is temporarily stopped and you don’t need (or you cannot) use both hands to open the chin guard (i.e. at service stations, tollgates, traffic lights…). Microlock retention system, Sanitized® treatment, Jet Stream Wing (JSW) ventilation system, Nolan Fog Resistant system (NFR) and Vision Protection system (VPS).
CHIN GUARD OPENING AND VISOR MECHANISM
This helmet is equipped with an innovative chin guard opening system which integrates three different functions: A. Chin guard rotation movement with elliptic trajectory, to minimize the frontal area, with open chin guard, and prevent accidental closing; B. Automatic visor return, when opening the chin guard; C. Double Action 1) visor mechanism: three different visor opening positions; 2) quick visor disassembly/assembly, without removing the chin guard; 3) visor lock: it avoids accidental visor opening.
TOP VENTILATION FRONT AIR INTAKE
Designed as one piece structure integrated with JSW system, allows two different opening positions and can be operated with only one hand.
